The E-Series System

Reading and Acting on a Code
When an E-code appears, record the exact code and note what you were doing when it showed, such as during a steam cycle or at high heat. A one-time code from a momentary glitch may clear with a power reset at the breaker. A code that returns points to a real fault, commonly a temperature sensor, a control-board issue, or, on combi models, a steam or water fault that descaling has not resolved.
